Saint-Gobain
Recently, the Secretary of the Huizhou District Committee led a delegation from the District Committee and Government to visit the Saint-Gobain Asia Pacific Headquarters. The delegation aimed to gain an in-depth understanding of Saint-Gobain's development strategy in areas such as building chemicals and held a symposium to further strengthen government-enterprise cooperation and promote industrial upgrading. They were warmly received and accompanied by several high-level executives from Saint-Gobain Asia Pacific and key leadership from Saint-Gobain Join Leader.
The Huizhou District Secretary and his delegation toured the Saint-Gobain Asia Pacific Headquarters, gaining a detailed understanding of the company's technological innovations and market expansion in the Building Chemicals sector. Saint-Gobain continues to increase its investment in China, particularly its Global High-Value Building Chemicals Base established in the Huizhou area, which has become a crucial link in the Group's global supply chain and is driving a business transition focused on building chemicals with industrial activities as a complement.
During the symposium, Saint-Gobain introduced the status and future plans of its development in Huizhou. Currently, the production capacity of key product lines at the Huizhou base is continuously improving, and the Group has approved new production line investment to further enhance its local manufacturing capabilities for key products like polyurethane and silicone, strengthen support for European market exports, and boost global competitiveness.
The Huizhou District Secretary expressed warm gratitude for Saint-Gobain's contributions to the economic and social development of Huizhou District. He stated that Huizhou is currently at a critical stage of industrial transformation and high-quality development, and Saint-Gobain's strategic direction aligns highly with the district's industrial planning for the "Fifteenth Five-Year Plan." The District Committee and District Government will continue to optimize the business environment, strengthen factor guarantees, and fully support Saint-Gobain in expanding investment and developing business in Huizhou. He hoped that both parties would take this visit as an opportunity to deepen cooperation in areas such as new building materials, green manufacturing, and industrial synergy, working together to create a demonstration zone for high-end manufacturing and sustainable development, achieving mutual success.
This inspection not only demonstrates the high regard the Huizhou District Committee and Government have for Saint-Gobain's development but also lays a solid foundation for deepening cooperation between the two parties in the new phase. In the future, Saint-Gobain will continue to leverage Huizhou's favorable industrial foundation and policy environment to facilitate the landing of more high-value-added projects and contribute to the region's high-quality economic and social development.
